Filtration

Djon Djon mushrooms bind water like no other natural ingredient. They contain a high concentration of Beta Glucan molecules, resulting in superior hydration and youthful skin.

These mushrooms are extremely rare and are often referred to as the black truffle of mushrooms. They grow only during the rainy season, and the drying process must begin within 5 hours of harvesting, requiring expert handling and meticulous care.

Tripeptides 1 and 7

The visionary heart and soul of Furcy Botanik, Nathania brings her deep passion for plant extracts and essential oils, along with extensive expertise in crafting highly sought-after skincare products. 

Her creative, entrepreneurial journey began with a unique wellness café, where patrons could also indulge in her line of natural skincare products. Nathania is the driving force behind FURCY Botanik’s community-focused efforts, including the launch of a charitable program benefiting the children of Furcy.

A respected and adored figure in the beauty world, Harvey Gedeon began his career as a bench chemist at Revlon and, decades later, retired as the Executive Vice President of Research, Development, and Product Marketing at the Estée Lauder Companies. The Furcy Botanik co-founder has been a force in the beauty industry for more than 30 years, creating many of the most lauded skincare and cosmetic products.

A true legend, he is renowned for his scientific advancements in skincare and cosmetics. He was drawn back into the industry, inspired by the potency of Haiti’s native plants.

The co-founder’s goal is to combine the indigenous knowledge of Furcy, the beautiful village they call home, with cutting-edge science to achieve superior skincare products.

Our creativity is sparked by the charming mountain town of Furcy, where these exceptional ingredients are known to promote wellness inside and out and are still sourced by local healers.

Within the heart of Furcy’s lush wilderness, the transformative power of plants takes center stage, alongside the Doktè Feuilles. Also known as leaf doctors, these herbal experts have long possessed an innate understanding of the healing properties of native plants and herbs. 

While Furcy Botanik is based in the U.S., we proudly draw inspiration healing properties of its indigenous plants.

Our inspiration stems from the abundant natural beauty and resources gifted to us by Furcy, a place to which our founders have deep ties. 

Furcy’s land offers us so much, and in return, we are committed to giving back by investing in its children through our Kids of Furcy Foundation and The Rosita Gedeon Foundation. 

We believe that education is the cornerstone for shaping their future.

Our co-founder Nathania Dominique plays a central role in Furcy’s community-focused efforts by launching a charitable program benefiting the children of Furcy. 

Furcy donates $5 from every purchase to The Kids of Furcy Foundation, a non-profit philanthropic organization that partners with both the public and private sectors to initiate, enrich, and support educational access and opportunities in the village of Furcy. 

The foundation is affiliated with the French-based organization Haiti-Futur, which operates in 55 schools across some of the most economically challenged regions.

Immediate funding supports the purchase of computers, software, school supplies, internet access, a library, musical instruments, staff and teacher salaries, a school cafeteria, solar energy, and general site management. Additionally, the school will offer adult literacy, sewing, cooking, and cosmetology courses. A fully-staffed nursing station will provide care for basic medical needs.

Our co-founder Harvey Gedeon founded the Rosita Gedeon Foundation in honor of his mother. The foundation provides financial support to young women from Haiti, enabling them to pursue S.T.E.M. studies at Florida International University in Miami.

Glass Bottle

Glass is 100% recyclable. When glass is recycled, it is melted down and formed into new glass containers, a process that can be repeated indefinitely without degrading the material. 

To ensure that glass is properly recycled, rinse and clean the containers to remove any food or residue, and separate the glass from the caps, inner jar, or spray pump.

Check with your local recycling program to understand their specific guidelines for recycling glass—some areas require glass to be dropped off at specific facilities rather than collected through curbside pickup. 

Avoid mixing glass with non-recyclable items such as ceramics, mirrors, or light bulbs, as these can contaminate the recycling process. If curbside recycling isn’t available, locate community recycling centers that accept glass.

Plastic Caps and Inner Jars

Separate the plastic caps and inner jar from the glass bottle of Gel Crème Legend, as well as the cap from Essence Éclat, and check with your local recycling program for specific guidelines on recycling plastic.
